Keeping such a diary is definitely an unconventional approach. The yellowed foreground is certainly a lovely way to experience the additional sketched colours differently and Im sure make all the colours used much more vital and animate as opposed to having plain white foregrounds. The content, wildly and generously applied dances over the pages, screaming for attention... The palette seems consistent throughout but is never made to appear dull - keeping within the range of blacks, reds, greys and dirty light blues.
