Perhaps the kiddies are play fighting with the birds equally obsessed, over the final string of colour left in one of my favourites of Keren Asaf"s illustrations. Maybe the man faced with a similar situation struggles for the red string itself to stay in the drawing, too. His lean is immediately believable.
Keren has no intention of bombarding us, instead delivering only the important in a predominantly blank realm. The content is of course intriguing enough to keep us involved and engaged with whatever ideas are available to us through examining the loosely drawn forms.
