Wadden assembles his paintings by piecing together his hand woven weavings to create large, geometric creations. Contrast to traditional painting, his composition is decided during the final stages of assembly. Wadden was Influenced by the likes of First Nation, folk and Bauhaus textiles as well as painting movements such as Abstract Expressionism.
